Who inspires me the most

Garegin Nzhdeh inspires me very much. I’ve red all of his books. He is one of greatest sons of our nation. Every Armenian around the world must be proud of him. Garegin Nzhdeh is Armenian national hero. Armenian nation and Armenian state exist thanks to him. If he didn’t stop Syunik region from being given to Turks by the bolsheviks (like Nakhijevan, Artsakh, Kars and Western Armenia), that would be the end of our nation’s history. Nzhdeh fought alone against two regional superpowers at one time (Bolshevik Russia and Turkey of Atatürk). He didn’t surrender and leaved Syunik only when bolsheviks gave to him guaranties that Syunik will be a part of soviet Armenia, not Azerbaijan. So he won! And that win was a necessary for our nation. His battle of Syunik was our second Sardarapat.

Garegin Nzhdeh was the creator of the modern Armenian nationalism. He wrote several books which inspire Armenian nationalists so far. That’s because of their relevance. For example, in one of Nzdeh’s books (The struggle of Sons against Fathers) he describes the fall of Kars, and it’s very similar to the fall of Artsakh: everyone blames each other, blames army, blames the government, but nobody blames himself. Nzhdeh says that every Armenian is guilty of the fall of Kars, because the reason of that is that we didn’t love our country enough and we didn’t value what we had, so these are the reasons why we lose it part by part every time.
